Wayne State Offers Free One-Month Bus Passes for Students

Have you heard? Wayne State is offering students free bus passes!

Okay so it’s only for October and only for the first 1,000 students, but it’s a huge step for encouraging students to ride transit. Bravo to Wayne State for doing this and for DDOT and SMART for supporting it!

Passes are available on a first come, first served basis via DOSOHousingThe W Food Pantry and The High Program. Students will need a Corq QR code or WSU Access ID.

Students are eligible for a Regional Pass if they are riding DDOT, and a Regional Plus Pass if they are also riding smart.

If you’re looking for advice on these passes, or on bus routes or transportation, contact Kristina Curtiss, Wayne State’s new Transportation Ambassador, who is also TRU’s current New Mobility Intern. We are very proud of Kristina. She can be reached at [email protected].
