People in southeast Michigan now have a transit option to link metro Detroit to Port Huron.
Effective Monday, January 28, Blue Water Area Transit (serving Port Huron) will connect with SMART.
Blue Water Transit will begin new peak hour bus service from Port Huron to Macomb County (23 Mile and Gratiot), operating express Route 94 and Route 29, a local bus via the waterfront communities of M-29 (Port Huron, Marysville, St. Clair, East China, Marine City, Algonac, Fair Haven and Anchorville). These buses will connect to SMART’s route 560/565.
SMART and Blue Water Transit will accept each others transfers.
