New SMART Promotions and Features:
In support of Detroit Tigers’ Seniors Days at Comerica Park, SMART will be offering a free ride home on any SMART bus after any Seniors Day game (eleven specified afternoon games). Just show your Tiger ticket stub for that day’s game to the driver. This free ride offer is good for fans of all ages.
PLEASE NOTE: All Woodward service is currently on detour south of Temple and will not pick up or drop off at the same Woodward stops as last year.
Also, SMART has launched a new feature on their website – Discuss SMART – Downriver! It’s a web forum for exchanging ideas about SMART services in the Downriver area. Join fellow customers, community members and SMART staff to talk about current routes and ideas for new service. Right now, it will focus on concepts and proposal for Downriver exclusively. In the future, this platform could be used to address service in other areas.
