The Regional Transit Authority covers the full four-county region of southeast Michigan, but has historically held most its meetings in downtown Detroit. But no more!

Following encouragement from TRU and their own Citizen’s Advisory Committee, RTA has committed to hold more of their meetings in a broader diversity of locations AND more in the evening when more people can attend.
They started in Washtenaw County on July 18 and will visit each county over the next few months to hold their Board meetings and public Open House events. Next up? Macomb County!
Join the RTA on Thursday August 15 at Macomb Community College‘s Center Campus at 44575 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038. Their Board meeting will be at 4:30pm and invites public comment. Then they’ll hold an Open House specifically designed to get public feedback and answer your questions.

Mark your calendar and spread the word!!
