On Wednesday evening, May 16, during National Transportation Week, TRU will be unveiling the top designs of Detroit-area transit and transit-oriented neighborhoods from our design contest: Detroit In Transit: Visions of a Region on the Move. Please plan to join us as we enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres and envision Detroit of the future.
The design contest is still open for entries. Artists, designers, urban planners, architects, students and others are invited to submit designs of what Detroit’s transit and transit-oriented neighborhoods could look like in 2025. Designs will be due by April 30. For design parameters and contest details, register online.
