SEMCOG recently overhauled their website, now providing easier access to their extensive maps, data and other information. It includes transportation, environmental, demographic and other maps. Data is available for each community in the seven county region on:
- People – Population trends, household types, age groups, race, ethnicity, and education levels.
- Economy and Jobs – Jobs by industry, commuting to work, daytime population, and income.
- Housing – Housing trends, ownership, vacancy, value, and movement into the area.
- Transportation – Roads, bridges, safety, transportation to work, commute time, planned projects, and corridor studies.
- Land Use – Change in residential and non-residential development by land use type.
- Reference Map – Quick locator map.
