Among some of the interesting findings:
- Many of the most walkable places are adjacent to downtowns.
- New York metro area has the highest number of most walkable urban places.
- Rail transit seems to place a significant role as a catalyst for walkable urban development.
- The Northeast and West Coast regions have a greater prevalence of walkable urban development.
- Detroit is #18 out of 30!
