To the Leaders of Greater Detroit:

We Want Transit!

Greater Detroit needs quality public transit to revitalize our cities, create jobs, support our community, and make our region a place where businesses and people want to be!

• Work cooperatively to establish a strong regional transit authority to oversee and coordinate regional transit;
• Provide sufficient state funding by changing the gas tax and vehicle registration fees; and
• Allow our region a dedicated regional transit tax (like most big cities use) to provide stable funding.
